Saikyo Connect Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of Saikyo Connect services operated by Saikyo Limited, including the management console, hardware connectivity, application (the “App”) and related account, device and network access services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Saikyo Limited, Hong Kong (“Saikyo”, “we”, “us”). Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy before using the Services. By accepting these Terms or using the Services, you agree to them.

1. Scope and eligibility

Saikyo Connect connects supported devices to authorised networks and network exits through hardware devices, the App and related VPN, tunnel and routing functions. Access depends on your account, organisation membership, device registration and the permissions assigned to you. Network and subscription access must be assigned by your organisation or granted under a service agreement.

You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Services for an organisation, you must be authorised to do so and follow its network and security policies. The Services are intended for business and organisational customers and their authorised members. The Services are not directed at children.

A written service agreement or order with Saikyo takes priority over these Terms where it expressly covers the same subject. If you connect the App to an independently operated panel, subscription or network, that operator’s terms also apply to its service. That third-party service is provided by, and remains the responsibility of, its operator.

2. Accounts, devices and organisation control

Provide accurate account and device information, keep your sign-in credentials and connection configuration confidential, and tell us or your organisation administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share accounts or connection credentials without permission.

Your organisation administrator can manage membership, groups, network permissions, device limits and routing policies, and can revoke a device or remove access. Administrators with the relevant permissions can view device information, usage statistics and connection records described in the Privacy Policy. Access can change when your role, membership or service entitlement changes.

You are responsible for securing your device and for activity you authorise through your account. Device revocation, signing out and uninstalling the App have different effects. Cancelling an organisation subscription or deleting a server-side account requires a separate request to the administrator or service provider.

3. Software permission and hardware

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the management console, install and use the App and device software we provide, and access authorised Services. Saikyo and its licensors retain their rights in the software, branding and service materials. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences; these Terms do not restrict rights those licences grant you.

You may not impersonate Saikyo, remove proprietary notices, or redistribute our branding or proprietary materials without permission. Any restriction in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law and the applicable component licence.

Hardware supply, ownership, installation, maintenance, replacement and return arrangements are governed by the applicable order or written service agreement. Follow the supplied instructions and confirm site power, network and access requirements before deployment.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Services only where permitted by applicable law and with permission from the relevant network owner. You must not:

  • Access accounts, devices, systems or networks without authorisation, or bypass tenant isolation, device revocation, access controls or usage limits.
  • Distribute malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, send abusive or unsolicited traffic, or disrupt the Services or another person’s systems.
  • Use the Services for fraud, unlawful surveillance, infringement of intellectual property or other unlawful activity.
  • Resell or share service access without the provider’s permission, or use credentials obtained from another person without authorisation.

We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, networks or the Services, or to comply with law. We will provide notice where practicable, unless doing so would compromise security or a legal obligation.

5. Network behaviour and availability

The App requests the operating-system permissions needed to establish a VPN or network tunnel; depending on the platform, connections use a network extension or privileged networking service. While connected, the App or connected hardware may route some or all device or local-network traffic and DNS requests according to your configuration and organisation policies. Other VPNs, local network settings and security software may affect its operation.

Tunnel encryption protects the supported path between your device and the selected endpoint. Protection beyond that endpoint depends on the destination protocol and network. The Services do not guarantee anonymity, prevent every security threat or replace device security and application-level encryption.

Availability, speed and latency depend on your device, internet connection, selected endpoints and third-party networks. We may maintain, update or change the Services. Unless a separate agreement specifies otherwise, we do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular speed or a service-level commitment. The Services are not intended for emergency communications or uses where a connection failure could cause injury.

6. Charges, subscriptions and third parties

Prices, usage allowances, billing periods, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the order, plan or written service agreement agreed between the organisational customer and service provider. Organisation members use access assigned by their administrator; contact the administrator about entitlements and billing. Mandatory statutory rights continue to apply.

Third-party identity providers, networks, payment providers, app stores and update distribution services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Saikyo is responsible for its own Services; a third-party service remains the responsibility of its operator.

7. Privacy and support

Our Privacy Policy explains account and device data, traffic statistics, configurable connection logging, diagnostics, retention and your choices. We will obtain separate consent for optional analytics or other processing where that consent is required.

If you send us logs, screenshots or support material, you authorise us to use that material to investigate and resolve your request. Review it before sharing and remove passwords, tokens and unrelated personal information.

8. Suspension and ending use

You can stop using the Services at any time. When using the App, disconnect the tunnel and sign out. You can revoke a registered device through device management to withdraw that device’s access. Contact your administrator or service provider to end an organisation entitlement or subscription. To request deletion of a Saikyo-managed account, follow the contact procedure in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, security risks, loss of entitlement, non-payment under an applicable purchase agreement, or a legal requirement. Where reasonable, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to resolve it. Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations or rights that are intended to survive it. Data retention after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Warranties and liability

We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Services. Except for commitments expressly made in an applicable agreement and rights required by law, the App and Services are provided on an “as available” basis, without a guarantee that they will be error-free or suitable for every purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Saikyo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or business opportunities arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services or legal requirements. We will publish the revised version here and give notice of material changes through the App, account portal or another appropriate channel before they take effect where practicable. Where renewed acceptance is required, we will request it. If you disagree, you can stop using the Services; existing purchase terms and mandatory rights still apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts and any applicable mandatory jurisdiction and remedy rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
